Tonight we'll talk about some different methods of construction. We'll touch on some of the more complex methods like Javascript and CSS (cascading style sheets) and we'll also talk about some of the older, less high-tech methods such as tables-based layouts and frames. Each method has it's merit but knowing when to use each one can be tricky!
We will start working on a tables-based layout for your pages. It is an effective way to organize your information, yet easy enough to create using Dreamweaver. We will discuss the limitations of using tables in your layouts and how to work around them.
